Overview of Lindenberg's work and main areas of interest

Siegwart M. Lindenberg (PhD Harvard 1971) is professor of Cognitive Sociology at the University of Groningen (rug), the Netherlands. He is one of the directors of the Interuniversity Center for Social science theory and methodology (ics) and member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences.

His main interests lie in the areas of: In much of Lindenberg's research, these micro-theories and the theory of groups are further developed and applied, mainly to the following three groups of topics:
